Biochemically love is just like eating large amounts of chocolate

250 g Butter (Cubed)
250 g Dark Chocolate (roughly chopped)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup Plain Flour
1/4 Cup Self-Raising Flour
1 Cup Berries
1/2 Cup White Choc Bits
Icing Sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees (170 degrees if not fan-forced).
  2. Lightly grease baking tray and line with baking paper.
  3. Melt butter and chocolate in pan over boiling water. Allow to cool.
  4. Cream eggs and sugar in large bowl of electric mixer.
  5. Gently add chocolate mixture to creamed eggs and sugar.
  6. Fold in sifted flours to combine well.
  7. Pour half the mixture into prepared tin.
  8. Sprinkle berries over the mixture. Sprinkle Choc-Bits over the berries.
  9. Pour remaining mixture over the top ensuring all berries and Choc-bits are covered.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Cool in tin, and then refrigerate overnight before dusting with icing sugar and cutting into squares.
