A word from the cook
A steak needs a bit of fat to taste great

6 sirloin steaks
1 tblspn soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
41g packet French Onion Soup Mix
1 large onion, sliced
1 cup red wine

  1. Rub steaks with combined soy sauce and garlic, stand for several hours or refrigerate overnight.
  2. Place each steak on a sheet of aluminium foil, large enough to enclose it completely.
  3. Sprinkle 2 tspns soup mix, a few onion slices and 2 tblspns red wine over each steak.
  4. Seal steaks tightly in foil, barbecue until cooked as desired.
  5. It is not necessary to turn steaks.
