The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook
Ingredients

1 piece (200-250 grams) marbled rump or porterhouse per person
Oil
Salt

Instructions
  1. Purchase good thick steak.  Ideally rump or porterhouse is good
  2. Leave steak in fridge for 2-3 days uncovered (ie no glad wrap)
  3. Take out of fridge and let steak come to room temperature
  4. Heat bbq plate or fry pan to hot
  5. Put a small amount of oil on cooking plate
  6. Cook the steak for 2-3 minutes turning every 15 seconds – yes that’s right, every 15 seconds.  This will give a medium rare steak depending on thickness
  7. Once cooked, wrap the steak in foil and make sure it rests for at least  5 minutes before serving
  8. Salt can be added to steak during cooking.  Don’t pepper the steak during cooking as the pepper will just burn.
