Strawberries in Cointreau

A word from the cook
I love berries. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, anything with erries in them.

1 punnet strawberries
2 oranges, peeled and segmented - save juice.
2 passionfruit
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbspn water
3 tbspn cointreau
300 ml cream

  1. Wash and hull strawberries.
  2. Add to orange segments and juice.
  3. Add passionfruit pulp.
  4. Combine fruit with contreau, cover and refrigerate.
  5. Combine sugar and water in saucepan, stir over heat until sugar is dissolved.
  6. Bring to boil and remove from heat and cool.
  7. Add to fruit mixture, cover, refrigerate until ready to serve.
  8. Top with whipped cream.
  9. Desert can be completely assembled ahead of time.  Top with cream before serving.
