You cant just eat good food, you've got to talk about it too.

2 cups self raising flour
pinch salt
1 tspn sugar
1 tblspn butter (melted)
300 mls cream and milk or water
Cream and Jam for serving

  1. Sift flour and salt, add sugar.
  2. Melt butter and add to cream mixture.
  3. Pour into flour mix.
  4. Cut with knife until combined.
  5. Turn onto floured board, knead lightly into shape and flatten to about 1 inch.
  6. Cut with cutter (makes about 12 scones).
  7. Place on tray and cook in hot oven 200c 8-12 mins.
  8. Serve with Cream and Jam
